Introduction:

Machining is a collective name for a group of industrial processes, during which material is removed from a raw part (usually metal, but also plastic, wood, and composite materials), to achieve the desired shape of the part according to a technical drawing.

Simply put, it is a process in which material is "carved" to produce a highly precise part, using sharp tools and precision machinery.
